You're best from a price perspective to have them under one roof.... if you're talking normal TLD's I'd go to Moniker... when you have a decent portfolio like that you can negotiate the pips out of them... if you do it right!
I'm sworn to secrecy on my rates - confidential deal - but suffice to say that you can certainly save enough to go away for a week in the summer!

Entirely depends on the extension you specialize in.

Both Moniker and Dynadot work well with domainers. I have used both with success, although I tend to keep going back to dynadot. I just like their interface better.

Maybe you might be able to get it cheaper if you email them, don't know though.

I think large portfolio holders use their own reseller accounts through Enom etc or companies like Moniker are popular as mentioned above. Personally I use MyDomain.com (for .com's etc) & Dotster (for .net & obscure tld's) , and have transfered most from other registers to them as once you get to bulk amounts the prices comes down just above $5 using a coupon like "bargaincat.com" for 15% off. They also have a great bulk management interface, fast and easy to use.

my advice would be to use moniker

email monte cahn (put dots between his names and @moniker) tell him you want to transfer that amount of names and he will give you a great price on it

plus moniker is a great registrar, great service and ultra safe, user interface is very good aswell

Every registrar will cut you a deal if you are transferring 2000 domains to them. You just have to ask them. Enom give you $7.45 domains for circa 1000 domains. Fabulous have about the best prices (see their home page). Name.com give you $5.99 transfers with $7.99 renewals.

If I have 2000 domains, should I submit the complete list. They want domains with type in traffic , how do I know if a domain has type in traffic, if it was never parked by me?

Just tell them you are going to transfer 2000 domains there and ask them for a "wholesale account"... what they now call a "Domain Monetization Account". List them all. You can worry about traffic/parking after the domains are transferred.
