    I don't feel safe with 1and1 (want move two most valuable names) thanks though. Probably the best price on the market.

    why Co is so expensive?
    why do other registrars not offers transfer for $7 like 1and1
    Goddady bought a. Co registry it would be a good idea starting a promo for dot Co transfers to godaddy

    The reason registrars don’t is simply the normal wholesale price the .co registry charge them is $25.85 so below that they would lose money. Co and other registries have regular new reg promotions, but I think rarely substantial transfer ones.

    Re the registry, while true GD now are operating it for 5 years they do not own the TLD in the sense that new gTLD registries are owned. Under the new agreement the Colombian government get a much bigger share of pie as I recall.

    1and1 doesn't offer any transfer promos.
    They bill the same price for transfer as new registration, regardless of TLD.
