Changes to Google TOS and New Look

There is a TOS update today at Google. One of the new things I noticed is that it has a line in there now about Google being able to cancel your account if there is unsufficient impressions or clickthrus within 2 months at their discretion. They do not give a set number, which makes this line very scary. Another thing, and I'm not sure if this is new or not is a line about invalid clicks being generated from people who don't have javascript turned on? Can anyone clarify what this means? I thought if javascript wasn't turned on, they couldn't see the ad at all.

Also when you agree to the new TOS, you get a new look with some cool new features like Top Channels and such. I didn't get a chance to look at it very carefully because I had to go and closed the window, figuring I could get back to it. But then it just returns me now to the old stats. Maybe it's just a preview of things to come.

Anyone else have any more analyzation of the new TOS versus the old?

This part is the same as before, except they added "or valid impressions" to the paragraph. (Adsense started using CPM ads that are paid per impression in addition ot the PPC ads we're used to.)

I don't really see any major changes in meaning to their TOS. Just a couple slight wording changes to support the CPM ads and Adsense for XML Feeds services they added.

The new layout for stats looks excellent so far! WTG Google!

As I just posted about 2 minutes on another website:

I must have just missed the update as I checked my account earlier to day..

It looks great, much easier to navigate.

Thanks for the reply RJ. And the analyzation, much appreciated. Several boards were wondering about that line, so was wondering myself.

Had to clear my cache, now I get the new stats all the time...

As I also posted in another thread about this (he he he), this should protect
google. Well, against US-based users, anyway.

Now if only they could only do something with the AdWords admin. It sucks, IMO. One thing I'd like to see is bulk uploading of campaigns.

I'm glad I cancelled my Google Adsense account this month.. Otherwise my $50 would have been gone. :)

I haven't had a website for about 6 months now and have left Google Adsense ads running at revenue sharing forums like NamePros. Google will be mailing my check in October. :tu:

It doesn't look to bad, however I was fond of opening it up to the monthly view, to compare rates, now I have to give it a few clicks to get there.. Yes I am that lazy..
