    Caymans.com closed at $11,938 on DropCatch. The domain name was owned by someone not that far from me in Glenside, PA. The domain name was registered in 1995. Some I spoke to thought the name would go for a lot more. I think at wholesale this is fair value for a Saturday afternoon where some […]

    Like you say that's a decent reseller price for Caymans.......good upside potential and also a great asset to develop if the person who bought was so inclined

    Our family goal is to move over there by 2023 :xf.smile: Been doing the research for the last 3 months to see what hoops we need to jump through to make it happen.......

    When your research hits the point where you understand that NOBODY who is at all familiar with the Cayman Islands refers to it as "the Caymans", then you will realize what a dumb purchase this domain name was.

    People who say "Caymans" in Cayman immediately identify themselves as cruise tourists or other new arrivals. When Caymanians mock tourists, they will say "Caymans".

    In Cayman, it is referred to as "kay-MAN" with the accent on the second syllable, and not as a plural.

    Watch this video:

    https://www.facebook.com/CanadaVisitCaymanIslands/videos/how-to-say-cayman/878526382562653/

    So, someone spent a pile of money on a spelling that actually annoys people IN Cayman.

    The BS/tv sale is interesting. Curious to see what's going to happen with that one. Plenty of options.

    Thanks for your time, John. Your perspective; unique insight and valuable.

    Part of it was me selfishly want him get back
    think read in bio, enjoys Caymans.. or w.e(!)
    Check this;
    "The three Cayman Islands, Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman, are located in the western Caribbean about 272 miles south of Cuba, 450 miles."

    Admittedly, cherry-picked my source though;
