discuss Can you remove a counter-offer after submission, potentially to offer a lower price?

As a seller, if one has presented a counteroffer on a domain, is there any flexibility of submitting a different one, in this case potentially a lower one to minimize the back-and-forth negotiations?

On Dan, there was a nice feature, at least in the past, where the seller could remove the last counteroffer. A different price then could be presented, along with communication with the potential buyer. On Sedo, that feature does not appear to be readily apparent. They do provide an ability to send a message to the potential buyer, initially at the time of submitting the counteroffer. It's not clear that one can do that after the submission.

My question is also, in general, which marketplaces do you feel provide the most flexibility for the offer-counteroffer negotiations. And, which have the easiest interface for accepting backup offers while negotiating? Finally, instead of accepting an initial bid, is your tendency to wait and see if other bids come in before accepting that one?

As an update, I did review the Sedo offer page, and did see that one can submit lower but not higher counteroffers. That, at least, is reassuring. However, any insights on the offer-counterofferr negotiations would still be appreciated.
