Can you get private pages on a website indexed with search engines?

I want to make a site selling lots of different products, but I want people to find each individual page through google or other means without seeing the other pages where the other products are. I want each product to have its own page and have no directory or nothing to the other pages. The only way someone could possibly find the other pages is to do a google search for one of those other items. Anyone know if its possible to do this?

Yes, it is possible, but I don't know why you would do it.

You need a directory that you only show to the googlebot user agent, have a script show something else to web browsers.

I'd do this by creating an XML sitemap containing the private pages and submit that to google via google webmaster tools. Keep your sitemap URL secret.

Not the best idea. I switch my UA on my browser between Firefox, Old GoogleBot and New GoogleBot all the time to get through sites that do just that.

as long as there's a link to those product pages somewhere on the internet, googlebot should be able to find it. submitting a sitemap is probably a better way to do it though if you have many pages.
