hi guys ... first of all mods if its in the wrong section ... i m really very sorry cuz i have no clue where to put this post


i have a site running

which is only be runnin for 2.5 weeks and it have more than 122835 hits

can u tell me if i sell this hosting site with a domain but i m not goin to sell the reseller who ever want to buy it have to move it to his server .. how much this worth

i just wanted to know how much it worth and if u really want to see the website

First off, you need to base your evaluations on "visits" and not "hits". Each time a file is loaded on your page, it is called a hit. One visitor may generate 1-50 hits per page (depending on the amount of images and files required per page).

I wouldn't offer more than $15/20 for the current layout without traffic.

i get 1382 unique hits a day ...

this is today's record ...


and most of the time the unique hits go 500

currently i've used more 2.5 gb of bandwith

You refer to hits, which is useless when evaluating a website. A hit is not the same as a visitor.

If you indeed receive 1300 visitors/day, you're looking at a decent rate, simply for the traffic. I would look for a bare minimum $500 for a site with that type of traffic.

I would still be sceptical with all the "hits" scripts and autosurf exchanges ect... out there. I would not offer $500 based on that stat..I would have to see more...especially if you do not have many clients or sales generating from those hits. I mean...where are they coming from? If you look at your stats there possibly is referal section (if you are using webstats or a script like that). That will tell you a little better where the traffic is coming from. If it is search engine or link driven traffic, well that is good. If it is coming from a exchange or a autosurf or listed as "bookmarked" then it is not good (bookmark traffic normally means that it can not be determined and may be coming from a unknown source).
This is just my opinion about this...but to me, a site that just started up and gets a good amount of traffic without any advertising needs to provide me more info about the visits than a site that is well established and has sales ect...

first of all i m only givin free accounts so no sales but i m planning to put forcced banners on probably start in february

second i dont offer that much space either but ppl like it becuz of the fast ftp. so i m pretty sure if some body buy this place and offer more webspace with bandwith .. ppl are goin to love it since other good free hosts are goin down for ex CNX the admin is sellin the web i m the global mod there and Xtreme web host are putting ads and forcing there ppl to click ads so this is a good time to open this community ..

and no it is not any traffic exchange shit i dont know where all those people come from but i advertise my website at freewebspace , cnx , iconrate , xwh, webmaster forum , clan templates , DNF

well u never realize how other hosts open their free webhosting service and grown up to established companies ...
they start with free hosting and then u put ads on .. and u cud get 100 of dollars with adsense per month .. i earned like 18 $ yesterday .... so if u get that much money u cud get well established and then start ur paid hosting ... since people wud alrdy know you that your service are very gr8 they'll come and buy the hosting from u ...

if i was to buy this site i wouldn't pay more then 50$, many many tings would have to be fixed (i.e. Spelling,Grammer etc..) right now it looks/sounds like it was created by a kid thats 12 years old.

The only value is the domain, if it really gets that many uniques. If not, the site design and layout is worthless.

Can we see some real traffic stats from AW stats? And I would like to know how many free accounts are setup/whatpanel is used/ and how many are recieivning more than 15MB of traffic a month? This wil more accurately judge you site.
