    The site will be dedicated to this writer's works.

    The writer is not as popular as - say - VictorHugo.com, but still.

    An exact domain name is available.

    Any advice is much appreciated.

    I am very sure that if you are going to use it as a fan-site that that is absolutely alright. But I am not a lawyer so whatever I said you should ignore lol.

    It's not an issue to register someone else's name, unless it's trademarked. So don't forget to check resources such as tmsearch uspto gov and trademark-clearinghouse com/content/claims-notice.

    Fan site, right, but monetizing it with links/ads a bit complicates the case : )
