Hello,

I registered an IDN Domain name and now it shows up in the WHOIS records with my details as the owner.

Can the Registrar pull it back after one day of registration?

I received an email from them saying that an error happened during registration as it was registered before and it does not show in the control panel! ( it was not registered before as it did not have WHOIS records before my registration)

Do they have the right to do so?

Thanks
A

Yes.

Yes.

A reason for those answers is the registrar's contract, which covers things such as the ones you described. That contract remains valid unless voided by a court in the registrar's area.

If the registrar is able to prove such an error occurred, though, then the least they can do is return your money. Then, you charge this to experience.

Good luck on your next endeavor.

Good question. Did they tell you what the "error" was?
