Other sites also had issues with premium pricing of .cam as well. I bought ip.cam and tv.cam at Dynadot regular pricing.

Got an email saying they couldn't be registered at regular pricing but if I was still interested, I could buy them at a premium.

They took it back a few days later though they did offer a discount from the "correct' price. I did not take up their offer.

I think i was very lucky with 777.webcam , i snatched it before prices go high crazy.

Look at these prices for exactly similar domains:

Same pricing goes for .cam !!!

However Namesilo.com has much better pricing for the same domains:

I have had an issue with Uniregistry not honoring quoted pricing.
I have had great success with Godaddy honoring quoted pricing even if it means they loose money.

I was able to register cricket.cam for reg price. I was little bit surprised that cam.cricket is priced at $11,000 on uni registry and $12,999 on godaddy.
