Hello, I`d like to have some apprasails from Australians or people who know Cairns.

For the ones who do not know this wonderful city in Queensland:

Cairns is one of the most popular touristic cities of Australia. The value of its real estate is skyrocking and this domain won`t be offered at this cheap for long.

My wife is Australian born, I asked her if Cairns could be considered third after Sydney and Melbourne for tourism importance: she said yes.

well Cairns is massive for parties and crap.
most aussies have seen Melbourne, Sydney and the Gold Coast before, Cairns is a nice place :tu:

most other for "cairns" are not taken by tourism Australia

http://www.australia.mobi/ for example is worth much more.

sydney.mobi as well, due to the overseas popularity of these two places .

thing is most overseas people dont know much about cairns so this de values the domain, but over all its a good domain at current market value some where in $xxx-$xxxx

if you find the right end user if mobi's take off it will be worth more,

Gold coast is more popular by far then cairns, so is Brisbane, Melbourne, sydney and many more places it is probly ranked top 10 but in terms of popularity.

Thank you but it`s not much developed.....I browsed the options and I get no results.

Plus the whois shows some guy from the US so I don`t think it`s a good end-user.

Cairns is also a surname and in New Zealand you have a cricket player called Chris Cairns:

Lots of potential, although I'm not a .mobi fan, will still apparaise this at high x,xxx to low xx,xxx at least if not more if .mobi gets more popular.

If it was mine, I would just hold it for some time, no hurry in selling this one imo.
