Buying Domain names with 1000's of backlinks query

Currently my website doesn't rank highly for the keyword "myspace layout" and the domain name is brand new.
If i purchased a 5yo domain name that had 20,000backlinks in google,and used this domain name with my website,will my site be between the 1st-10th page of google search results?
Because the first results for "myspace layout" only has about 6000backlinks in google.

1. the number of backlinks is not important. the number of quality backlinks is important

2. it could be that the other site has better optimised keywords and a higher density for the keyword "myspace layout" that is why it is ranking on the top

i would say wait for a few months till the next PR update. may be it will again come on top
