i mean is this easy to sell a domain ?
how much money can be made from a single domain ?
how many domains can be sold per month ?

Domains are an amazing business if you have time.

If you are thrifty / patient / and willing to lose for the sake of knowledge - you can make a killing.

The beauty of domains in my point of view is they are 100 percent virtual

you can make money on hundreds of different marketplaces and its all virtual. you can buy an underpriced name from seller A for $5 and theoreticly sell it to Buyer Z for 3000 in any combination of methods, and ending in a free instant transfer with as little as their email address / aside from any escow or like processes. (granted as this is the same as saying you can buy a stock at point A and sell at Point B tomorrow and make that gain.

my favorite part is it is one of the only true hand to hand industries to survive the mainstream internet days. I dabbled in domains around age 14 - 15 or so and now being 25 some big market places poped up, but it is still all handled in one on one deals. This allows for maximum profits. Think if you wanted to sell a babe ruth card online. you could try to scope out a buyer but you will be pulling straws until you just put it on ebay where your price is only worth what others are listing. Your domain is always going to be one of a kind. / .COM wins over anything but there are a few diamonds out there in other extensions.

It is basicly the wild west out here, and while some pioneers have cornered the ultra premium, there are still dollars to be made constantly. I started with about 100 a few months ago and Im up to a few thousand (in theory) off of simply cost. no extra money put in. As long as you keep up and dont slack, someone will want the name, weather it be someone you email and convince to buy for 1000% markup, or you want to pass the deal you found off to another invester here or other dealer marketplaces with a small markup. Its your journey and what you put in will come back, as you put each new piece of info / market new into your next pickup / sale.

All the meanwhile you can build up a very sweet portfolio on parking sites where people never new their domain had hundreds of clicks a month turning your one time buy into profit each month.

Sound too good to be true? maybe but you only fail once you give up so i dare you to get involved. heck you already found the best forum in the world... I started on sites where you had to pay 10 bucks just to list a doman no guarantee of sale!

One more bit which makes this better then any other investment.... other then price. you have a full year. so if your hand registering names... 10 8 dollar names, one sells for 100 in a year. (not even a hard thing to do if the names are half decent and your driven.) then you made 20% on such a SMALL investment. Call up your accountant and let them know you want to invest 80 bucks in stocks of their choosing and wait for the sound of the phone to hit the receiver.

You really have to commit to it full-time if you expect results. I'm in this only part-time, as my day job I enjoy very much. So, I only get what I give.

Even a full time commitment can yield little to no profit. It's a risky business, even more so now with gTLDs looming all over the place. You have to be ready to take hits, but will also get results from an area you had no idea might make you a sale.

What will you make from a domain? Whatever the buyer is willing to pay. As a seller, if you are savvy enough to hold out to get the price you want, and have the bankroll to hold it, than you're on your way!

There are other ways to ensure your domaining business is profitable, involving parking, renting and even niche websites.

With this kind of monthly revenue you are likely making more than 90% of domainers already. (These figures are US Dollars, correct?) You might be more profitable teaching domainers how you created that revenue rather than dabbling in the domaining business itself : grin :

If you are making $1K per month from these 2 domains alone, I suggest you continue being a website developer.

Do not start domaining. Keep doing what your doing.

That is $12K per year just for 2 websites.
You don't need many more similar websites (4-5) to live from these passive revenues.

the only sad thing is i want to make websites in english language but i am not interested in learning the language, i can speak and write, but writing a good perfect unique blog with good words looking tuff to me also i am 37 and suffering from few diseases, so i am not going far to learn and start, i will teach those things to my kids so that they also start earning some money from internet...

A solution for you could be a service like Fiverr.
You can write your texts in your own language and have them translated for $5-$10.

To be true..yeah you can earn a ton from Domaining..but you need to tread carefully..read and research before you buy..all the domains are not worth the same...there are many ways to monetize them too..and since you are from a SEO background..you would know better.

The point is you need to start small..but don't just buy everything and anything...Read this forum..there are a lot of good information here..and invest a little by little..(thoda thoda karke you know ).

First Read as much as you can...than invest steadily...Learn both what to buy and what and where to sell..
