You seem to have a real anger management problem. You are rude to anyone who asks you simple questions.

We've really yet to hear from most of the leaders in the industry about this. With the exception of Castello, James (who started this thread) and TheDomains etc, the vast majority of these players have been strangely "quiet" regarding this matter. For example, not a peep on elliot's blog or shane's blog today. I suspect that is partially due to many of them having varying degrees of contacts, conflict of interests and agreements with GoDaddy at the present time. Would it be "wise" to show your disdain for GoDaddy if they're the source of 50% of your income? Probably not.

Either way, this entire thread has made it crystal clear that in this day and age, you really do have to protect your assets. It's also probably not a wise business strategy to publicise that you believe in the second amendment or that you support hunting wild animals. We don't know exactly what happened here yet, but it's likely just an overall, wise tactic to keep your ideological opinions to yourself, if you want to keep your domains safe. It might also help to marry a trial lawyer who fights for victims of discrimination. The bottom line, is that maintaining the public image that you're a virtuous person and a part-time activist, really seems to be an essential tactic if you want to avoid conflict, maintain a social media account and/or keep your domains safe.

Yeah, I actually saw that. Not much of a response to that poster, though. He and others have written full blown articles on lessor subjects, having much less details to go on. I mean, we literally have a court transcript that's published in this particular case. There's enough fodder and it has enough weight that everyone with domains sitting in GoDaddy should be up at arms over this, but I get it. Gotta protect the assets!

    Elliot actually replied.
    Elliot admitted he’s staying out.
He says “he has nothing else to add.”

You know, I'm actually trying to think of a current right leaning, non-conformist, wealthy domain investor (other than @create.com) off the top of my head, who routinely openly supports the second amendment, hunting exotic animals etc, and I can't think of any. So no, I don't think most of the known big players think they're at risk. Naturally, a few may publicly claim that they're concerned, but at the end day, I doubt they truly are when it comes to this particular issue, imo.

Yes it seems that many of the top domainers prefer to be silent perhaps to protect their own interest.

But many of the people who have been vocal here have only expressed the kind of opinions that are for the most part aligned with their own political interests and agendas,

A lot of people are attacking Godaddy, but I haven't seen too many people here asking for any kinds of reforms to take place for the domain Industry as a whole,

You all know there are no guarantees that your domains are not going to get locked at other Registrars,

As the matter of fact domain names can be locked or even get deleted at the Registry level.

Even though this problem has started at Godaddy, but we need to use this occasion to put pressure on the whole Industry including ICANN to come up with a set of Uniform Standards and Polices in regards to Registrants' Rights so that our domains are going to be protected regardless of which Registrar we might be using.

So if you all want something good to come out of this stop all the one sided political attacks on Godaddy and each other and organize as a group through ICA so that you can demand some changes and reforms for the whole Industry.

    IMO

The overall agendas and opinions that I've personally seen expressed overwhelmingly on this thread, would be that locking down someone's domains due to differing ideologies would be an abhorrent finding. If anything, people keep posting that political ideologies should be kept out of key business decisions.

Registrant rights is a very important issue to any domain owner, not just investors.

Feel free to send me any ideas or suggestions you have and I will bring them to the ICA.

    Thanks,
    Brad

A few of my concerns are posted in the thread below, I'll add some more later as I think of anything new,

This would be a good place to hear from others too who have been done wrong by any of the Registrars to bring any issues or problems to everyone's attention. IMO

India is known for scammers. It is a fact. From IRS extortions to call center scams. Most of these scammers are well educated both on technical and legal aspects. It is very hard to fight against these scammers as India has rotten justice system. Bribes and corruption prevails. It is best to avoid any registrar that has legal presence in India. In my opinion this is a well planned and executed scam by @barybadrinath and his lawyer. I am sure the lawyer will have his share. The lawyers in India don't do this kind of work unless there is a decent bounty involved. I wouldn't be surprised if comments in this thread are monitored and typed by his lawyer.

And a repeated cybersquatter. These cybersquatters and lawyers work hand in glove to extort money. My two cents of advice to the domainers would be to keep you profile low and don't expose your high value domains and your identity. I wouldn't be suprised if @Rick Schwartz becomes next victim. Stay safe.

    In other satirical news...

The price of GoDaddy stock $GDDY soars in the after hours, on early announcement that GoDaddy CEO will be joining namePros sometime in 2021 to introduce himself and hold an AMA just like @Dynadot CEO Paul Han did last year.

Hey @mitch at namePros, you buying GoDaddy stock? Yeah @Bubba, there is an upcoming AMA with GoDaddy's CEO on the internets most popular public domain forum called namePros. Oh really buy buy buy.

Given the fame of the Complainant – both worldwide and in India – it is beyond belief that the Respondent did not know of the Complainant and its FACEBOOK mark at the date of registration of the disputed domain name earlier this year.

His attempts to sell the disputed domain name are clear indicia of bad faith registration and use. The fact that he is in the business of dealing with domain names makes his transgression all the worse.

The weak statement in the Response that the disputed domain name is the name of an engineering college lacks any document which may support the assertion.

Consequently, paragraph 4(a)(iii) of the Policy is satisfied.
For the foregoing reasons, in accordance with paragraphs 4(i) of the Policy and 15 of the Rules, the Panel orders that the disputed domain name facebookengineering be transferred to the Complainant.

So the broker lawyers are not at all worried about Brent? And that it is the broker lawyers who are only and only about their own commission?

What about the guy who said all those nasty things to Brent, and alleged Brent was connected to a varying slew of criminal activity AFTER Brent refused to pay for services he has yet to receive a bill, receipt, or contract for specific services provided? Does this guy care more about Brent than those broker lawyers who only want their commission? If so, how?

Last I heard he was serving Aunt Hillary diet cokes at the press of her button in the green house. Rumor has it they're both in bitcoin talks with publicly backing Tulsi Gabbard 2024 USA presidential bid.

How does that matter? Offender is offender. You steal one time or multiple times. Action implies the individual has habit of stealing.
