domain Brandable .co.uk domains to appraise please - DatingLine.co.uk

Hello all,

Recently picked up a few brandable .co.uk domains on the drop. I genuinely feel that brandable domains will rise in value with Google's recent updates and more so for the reason that a lot of startups will always be looking for a brandable name, an identity. There are end users out there matching these names already and using other variations of domain names.

What do you make of the following?

DatingLine.co.uk
LoveTree.co.uk
ButterflyMedia.co.uk

Is this a case of they are worth what someone will be willing to pay for them? Or am I just completely cuckoo for favouring brandable domains?

Well, I like them in a way.
But then, I am not over the pond as they say.

Your best bet is to find some brits who would like to have these domains.

Could be reg fee to maybe a few extra pounds over that.

I agree, they have a nice ring to them, but as with iowadawg, I don't know much about the .co.uk market as I have zero experience with it. DatingLine and LoveTree sound like decent names for a dating site.

But just make sure the .com's are not already in use. There could be an issue, if its a big company and they already have members from the UK. If so you might not be able to use it for the same purpose.

The .com is actually up for sale on DomainNameSales.com and it supposedly has had 69 sales inquiries, but as yet still waiting on the first inquiry for my datingline.co.uk..

If I can get even 5% of those inquiries I'd be a very happy man! :tu:

Also try gathering some opinions at Acorn. I seem to recall reading somewhere a few years ago, that it was "the" place for UK domainers...
