Billboard.com through their parent company (VNU eMedia Inc.) have launched Billboard.biz ...

Billboard.biz is the online home for Billboard subscribers and music industry professionals. It's the home for the weekly contents of Billboard Magazine. The site features breaking news, complete listing of charts, with special coverage of Radio, Legal and International as well as Brand Marketing, Digital and Mobile entertainment, with other music industry information. Unlike Billboard.com, the Billboard.biz site covers the global music entertainment business for professionals.

I'm quite pleased to see Billboard utilize their .biz in this way.

I saw this the other day when I was on their .biz website. It's very nice to see such a large developed .biz domain being used for exactly what it was meant to be.

Me too SwampFox. Just came to my attention that Billboard.biz has been around a while although I didn't realize this. It's a nice site for sure.

That's one biggie using .biz ... any others?

I would like to think that .biz has started moving into the mainstream but one biggie doesn't impress me.

A Google search of "site:*.biz" brings up 2,170,000 results but a look through the first 18 or so pages of results list a bunch of parked names, personal sites and small biz sites.

Here's hoping that Billboard.biz is the start of great things for .biz
