I need people to test my application before I officially launch.

Heres what it looks like:

Its an online mp3 player, so visitors upload their music collection and then can listen from their home, work, laptop etc. I need people to register for an account and play around with it.

To qualify for the $50 prize you must:
- create an account at www.musecast.com and upload atleast 5 songs
- test the application for atleast 10 minutes
- submit some kind of feedback, including a bug, suggestion or an idea for improvement.

I would like any and all feedback, so if you have any thoughts let me know.

If you do find a bug, please recreate your steps in producing that bug

I am posting this thread here and a few other forums. I will randomly select 1 person from everyone that submitted feedback to receive $50 (via PayPal). I will use a PHP script to randomly select the winner.

PS: I'm looking for bands that want their song(s) featured on the front page for the unregistered preview. When I go live I will not have copyrighted songs on the preview, so if you have a band or have a friend with a band and want free exposure let me know

Hi. While testing it (although I haven't uploaded and used it fully) made an attempt to click "logout" which is not working!

Just figured out that you can upload multiple songs in one click, that's nice. And I like the dual progress bars.

ETA: I spoke too soon. It let me add two songs to the Upload box but it only uploaded the first one and then it shut down.

ETA2: Even stranger. That second song won't load at all, no matter what. I have three items in the library. The fourth will not show up.

I also like this for my podcasts. ITunes is so cumbersome and I don't want to save them forever, just listen then delete. This is nice and workable - would be nice if I could pull my favorite podcasts with an RSS feed though.

Finally, why no feedback button on the site? Or am I missing it. Having to refind this thread when I come across a glitch or want to comment is a pain.

Thanks DDC, thats some good feedback. Theres no feedback button right now, but I should be able to add one later tonight so you dont have to keep coming back.

Its pretty good. I had no trouble, just a little bit slowness, but that could just be my computer. Other than slowness, all 5 songs were uploaded and they all play. Logout doesn't work though.

I had to leave town for a family emergency and just got access to the internet. I will check DP and respond to your message. In the future please dont accuse people or make assumptions like that so soon, sometimes there are extenuating circumstances, like a family member's severe illness.

Just started now,

1.Noticed that the buy functionality does not work yet.
2.The volume slider does not work
3.You have to drag the track seek slider, maybe you could add a functionality where you can just press a certain part of the seeker and start to play from there?
4. The length of my track does not display
5. Play/Pause button not working
6. Cant drag a song from my library to a playlist
7.Logout button does not work
8.Once you start an upload, then minimize the transfer, I dont seem to be able to cancel the transfer without either refreshing the page or closing it.


I submit more as I find them.

Just wanted to say that I love the player. Wouldn't use it myself, but I can see a lot of people wanting to use it. I can see this being huge, goodluck!

Edit: Something to think of for later as well, You should make a version of the player that is specifically tailored for the Wii Internet Channel..

Found a couple of problems

Upgrade bar appears at bottom when trying to click hide ect

Would be useful to have more functions such as embed ect

Also i am in a band and wouldnt mind one of our songs on the front page
