Congrats on the sale. You just made @Avtar629 `s day.

lol was that sarcasm? thanks for the mention! lol I doubt I should be happen I've seen Tmarkus' list it's way better than my list ever will be. I did get some recently surprised they weren't taken. I know Gambling is illegal in China but there a huge amount of these .bet's registered by Chinese. ( why is that? care to comment? or just speculation?)

anyways mine are

Ali.Bet
XNXS.BET (Virtual Reality.Bet in Chinese pinyin acronym) just type in xnxs into google translator. set it for Chinese to english and put it in there. Amazing! lol

Possible TM issues I would think
there is no TM alert while registering otherwise I would have not registered , thanks, let me check once again

Trademarks only apply if SAME USE for specific GOODS AND SERVICES.

if there was a company using FACEBOOK in their company name? and they sold worms for fishing? nothing facebook can do about it. two totally different Goods and Services.

you think so? to be honest I did get a trademark notice over at name.com for it but heck I ignored it since if you check Alibet.com it's taken by some Chinese domainer I'm guessing.

I think even if gambling is illegal in China there are still a ton of Chinese worldwide not living in mainland china who will definitely have the natural inclination to gravitate towards "things familiar" and nothing is more familiar to the chinese than ALI as in Alibaba. but if you do check Ali.bet on Google it picks up search results for the greatest boxer of all time! Muhammed Ali! Boxing is a sport so maybe Ali searches may want to bet on boxing? I wonder where Ali.bet would pop up on the searches if developed?

Great domain

Thanks by the way. I got the idea after some people were talking about Alibaba focusing on match poker in China.

and this one person mentioned AliPuke.com = AliPoker
and mentioned AliPoker.com and AliPai.com

figured hmmm if the key letters are ali why not ali.bet

I'll "Ali" bet that theres millions of Chinese world wide not just in mainland China and I know most will gamble online.

That wasnt sarcasm lol. Do I sense a tag here or something of me being sarcastic? I am not. At least I can say I never used sarcasm to cast aspersion on anyone`s personality, ridicule, insult or belittle anyone on this forum. I`m so humbly proud of that. I said he made your day because a sale like that would be music to your ears and make you even more resolute in your belief that your names would sell.
Gambling may be illegal in China but I think gambling is a popular pastime in that part of Asia. I stand to be corrected on this. On the few occasions I go to the casinos here there are quite a noticeable number of Chinese or at least Chinese looking people there. Dont forget too that they have Macau, an Island I think off the Chinese mainland, from what I heard its like Vegas but just in Asia. Thats where the Chinese go to gamble. Basically the Chinese love to gamble so that might explain there interest in those domains .Or it could be its just coincidence that these domains have gambling related meanings. Doesnt matter. As long as escrow is initiated.....

Wonga is a payday loan company in the UK. However if you checked before buying the name and you found no TM you may be in the clear. But if they still want to make trouble for you, from my understanding (or lack of it) of the rules they still could. They are a financial services company so shouldn't be too worried about betting though

lol EXACTLY good point! I was kidding about the sarcasm. doesn't matter . I'm like teflon. nothing sticks. and I'll even kill you with kindess with a "thank you" with a smile. too many people try to bring you down on NP just to try and uplift themselves up to guru status. I rather become a guru someday hopefully without stepping on anyone's dreams. but that's just me. anyways. thanks for the insight. Although Macau is going to be dead soon with the Gov cracking down.

Inside tip. Google Primorsky Krai! supposedly the new "las vegas" of Russia.
6000+ hectares of prime real estate in the eastern most part of Russia which opens up into the Sea of Japan.

Russia is targetting the 1.7 billion Chinese gambling market. Good move I think on the part of Vladimir Putin.

before I get this post deleted. I have registered because of this.

Primorsky.BET

"I did want Russia.bet but it was taken of course. guess by who? Chinese! Coincidence? I don't think so. I think they know something!"

PrimoryeKrai.com (another name used for Primorsky Krai)- imagine finding out they are building las vegas?

Then registering LasVegas.com? smart or stupid?

Fair game to the Russians for coming up with that idea as they are one of the biggest groups of people spending money in Macau. Fair game to you too for getting those names. Primorsky.bet is better than Russia.bet in my opinion. Since the resort is called Primorsky then its best to get that exact location name rather than the country name

I'm reaching out to thee owner of Tigre de Cristal to see if there is any interest in Primorsky.Bet and Primorsky.Casino yea I know I know I shelled out big bucks for it. but hey there's about 9 casinos scheduled to get built in the next 5 years. Tigre de Cristal is the first to open and it's already booked solid till 2017. We'll see if they want my Primorsky.Bet. hopefully.

I mean if this place is going to be a gambling mecha. like Macau or Las Vegas and domains like Macau.com and LasVegas.com fetch huge prices then Primorsky as a keyword geo should be a good bet for a Geo domain. I've already joined russian forums for this.

Anyway wish me luck on my Primorsky.bet we can only hope right?

Did you get contact info? I own LasVegasOfTheEast.com, and the other 3 major compass points. I'll be reaching out to the gambling companies there in the near future to see if they want the premiere brand of "Las Vegas" to identify themselves.

well there's issues with that. I thought that simply signing up with Linkedin would help me reaching Lawrence Ho CEO of Melco Entertainment. But strangely enough he has no Linkedin but thee other casinos opening up? Do. I really hope they are interested in my Primorsky.BET and other similar keyword's in king.

here's the list I know of.

Melco Entertainment
G1 Entertainment
NagaCorp
NagaWorld
Royal Time

I just realized that there aren't 9 operators developing but 9 casinos. some of these 5 operators are building more than 1 casino.

Also if you want referrals Primorsky has Development promotional department.

what do you think of Primorsky.Bet for this area? or niche?

yet well it's going to be slow going. plus I missed out in getting Primorsky Krai in king. but Primorsky.Bet gets me in the game. don't know how since Russia and China are both in the same boat when it comes to making gambling illegal even online.

There are 3 operators right now that don't care really.

Bet365
betfred
and i think unibet

oh an betway
Youwin
10Bet
and Intertops

I wonder if any of them want my Primorsky.Bet? lol

Thanks for the info! If this area is to be the Las Vegas of the East, they will need to heavily brand themselves worldwide to attract gamblers. I would imagine that Primorsky.Bet would be a favored choice for a casino or gambling association. Maybe you and I could be their unofficial marketing gurus... :xf.grin:

just some info though.

this place was originally called Primorye Krai and just recently changed to Primorsky Krai. why? I have no idea. anyways. if you read online in the casino news sites. they flip flop between using Primorsky or Primorye interchangeably. so bear that in mind when you register for this niche.

this is why I registered
Primorsky.bet

if you want to get a piece.

Primorye.bet is available

I choose Primorsky.bet because I missed out on getting primorsky krai in king. but I did get primorye krai in king.

the guy in hong kong who owns primorsky krai in king wanted $15,000. ahhh the Chinese! they are so irrationally AWESOME! buy a domain for $10 and then slap a $15,000 price tag on it. well who wouldn't right? I'd the do same. I learn to be irrational like the Chinese. it's just good business! lol no offense Chinese folks.
