We all have our domains listed at several marketplaces.

However it is only smart to list a name with a BIN at one marketplace at a time so as not to get stuck in a situation where a domain is purchased at two markets simultaneously.

Yes, I know the chance of this happening is rare.

Now for the question and the Poll.....

When listing your domains for sale at markets with a BIN, which market, in your opinion, gives the best results.

In other words, in your experience, what market has resulted in the most sales from listing names with a BIN only?

I am leaving out the brandable marketplaces because they are specialists.

We are talking about the major, general markets only.

Only one answer is allowed, so pick the one you think is best even if two are very close.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I'm not seeing many views at any of them.

..........Sedo takes possession of the domain and disburses payment before giving the domain to buyer. :xf.wink:

Is this always the case? Or is/are there conditions to be met to get that service? I ask because in the 10 years I have sold at Sedo not all of my sales have gone that way. Sometimes I receive instruction to push the domain to the buyer's account, sometimes to push it to Sedo's account. I could never figure out why but also never asked.

Not sure, for me in the past couple of years Sedo has been very good at having me push my domain to them immediately after they confirm buyers payment.

Sometimes they need buyer to send more info to verify payment and that can take however long the buyer takes to supply verification.

I haven't had to push the domain to a buyer in a few of years so I assumed that is just the case for everyone now. That is why I choose Sedo for the most part is to have them take possession of the domain.
That and they send payment so fast.

Nobody has mentioned domain agents. I'm thinking of trying them because of their links to whois services, and their proactive approach to selling names.

I have sold domains through Domain Agents, even before they had their marketplace.
No complaints!

I sold a name through them following an inbound enquiry. I'm thinking of trying their market place as part of my review of BIN sales sites, and I wondered if people had had much success with them. I like their negotiating system, so it seemed a useful site to list names.
