Be Prepared! New Design for Parked Domain Ad Pages
Dear Partner,

We would like to share some important updates regarding changes to landing page designs. Our Tier 1 ad provider is introducing new design guidelines for parked domain ad pages, which will affect all AFD (Ads For Domains) partners, including us.

These updates feature enhanced sponsored labels, making ads more clearly marked to improve transparency and build trust with users. Additionally, calls-to-action will be streamlined for greater clarity and better integration with the overall page design. They’re also refining the ad text display to make it more engaging and easier to read.

These new guidelines are designed to improve the user experience and enhance advertiser visibility.

As of Tuesday, December 17th, our Tier 1 ad provider has stated 50% of traffic will run through the new design. We expect a complete transition by January 2025.

While initial testing indicates a significant decrease in RPM, we're optimistic about performance improvements in the coming weeks, due to additional template optimizations and higher conversation rates for advertisers which will lead to increased EPCs for your traffic.

As always, our Account Managers are ready to answer any questions you might have.

Interesting if send this traffic to zero click. May be this will work better now.

We started testing above, this will be the beginning of the end for dropcatch companies as well.

EPC was somehow better for the last 2 days (Thu, Fri). Not sure if it's Above sending the traffic to a new place (I'm using Above Managed) or Google kicked their dead cat so it pretends alive for a while.

Is above “managed” the same as above “maximizer”? Or do above managed optimize domains manually?

No, it's different. With Above Managed enabled they take over the domain management from you and you have no control where the traffic goes.

Drop catch services don't die, because many people catch domain for resell and SEO purposes.
I check list of catched domain, and most of them for sale or used for seo. Small percentage of domain go to parking.

Sedo said they had enabled Adsense premium ads earnings. I contacted ParkingCrew to update as my premium ads were disabled and still they didnt get enabled. When Adsense enables at Sedo Id assume they would enable with all domain parking companies, is there nothing to do?

I think because many uses Residential proxy for webscraping these days, google considers everything invalid low traffic.

We hope your New Year is off to a fantastic start!

Following up on our pre-Christmas communication from December 17, 2024, regarding Google's mandated design updates for parked pages across all parking companies, we would like to provide an important update. As of January 9, 2025, we have been informed that the rollout of the new design to 100% of traffic has been implemented. These changes apply uniformly to all parking companies, including ParkingCrew, and significantly standardize the design while limiting customization options.

Key Features of the New Landing Page (2nd Page):
- Enhanced Sponsored Labels: Clearer identification of advertising content.
- Streamlined CTAs: More compact and focused calls-to-action.
- Refined Ad Text: Improved readability and ad labeling.

Performance Impact
As previously communicated, our testing indicated a decrease in RPM following these changes, which became evident after December 17 and further impacted results after the full rollout on January 9. However, we remain optimistic about future performance improvements. We expect continued optimizations, higher conversions for advertisers, and overall greater value for advertisers to drive an eventual increase in RPM for publishers.

What’s Next?
- Our team continues to test and implement new optimizations that comply with the latest ad network guidelines.
- No action is required from domainers at this time.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss domain monetization options for your portfolio, regardless of your current provider, please don’t hesitate to contact your account manager or reach out to the ParkingCrew Support team at [email protected].

Google for Adsense performance, looks like Adsense also having same problem.

Quote:
In the last 24 hours, RPM dropped by 50%, but impressions remained the same or even higher.
The CPC of personalized ads has dropped significantly since new year 2025, while contextual has risen.

Seems, starting Jan 2, 2025 (first working day) Google was disabled third-party cookies in Chrome for a significant amount of users, in the console a couple of warnings related to third-party cookies and AdSense, so things are not working as expected.

I agree. More than a 50% drop.

terrible
bodis support saying future unknown

but I'm sure we all know it just means ... not gonna go better

I'm down from 200 a month
to 50 during phase 1 of cuts
to 5 during phase 2 now

just keep on bodis for convenience really... I mean it's still good simple landers switchable to market landers eith one click.. plus best visit stats around so why not

but the possibility of park blockers for some visits bugs my head a bit

Something is changed, something is improved. "Sponsored" was like that twice at the beginning. PC Support writes that it still hopes for improvement.

I am 24% lower income in january versus october. Not so bad, but going worse. I had more visits but very low RPM, mainly in bodis.com . In addition to that, bodis told they are going to delay payments from D+7 to D+30

I am looking for a plumber job or something so i do not rely so much on domain parking.
Also thinking of renting a room in my house, either permanent or AirB&B

Shit.
