Every year, people go wild buying dozens of cheap domains during Black Friday and Cyber Monday. A few months later… most of them just expire.

We see it happen every single year. Tons of domains registered in November, and by next year's renewal season… gone.

Why do people do this? Impulse buying? Fear of missing out? Or are these "deals" just too tempting to resist?

How many Black Friday domains did you actually renew the next year?

How can they expire in just a few months? As far as I know, one year is the minimum registration period for domain names.

I generally don't buy on Black Friday's, so it doesn't effect me. These days, I buy or reg right after doing some in-depth research into a niche + extension, which can be any time of the year
