Quite interestring to see how WAP was viewed then as the new kid on the block. We all know what happened to WAP since.

Big difference between WAP and .mobi: Google, Microsoft, Samsung, Nokia, etc., etc...

Oh, and also that while WAP was "a clever piece of software that filters text information from web pages and displays the words on your phone", .mobi's are actually designed for your mobile.

B-man it seems like you've been quite ambivalent about .mobi from the very outset. First, you were somewhat late in getting on board since as late as 10/6 you didn't even seem to know that "landrush" was already on for almost 10 days, then after some further hesitation you did jump in and perhaps got yourself more names than you intended to, then almost immediately you seemingly started having second thoughts about your decision to get in, and now lately it seems like you've become pre-occupied with digging up all this skeptical stuff about .mobi? What up Bman with you and .Mobi?

What up wit me? I keep on coming across all these different opinions on .mobi all the time as I have been checking up a lot on .mobi related discussions and opinions on the net. So I post some of those articles I found here as some of them sow seeds of doubt in my mind. I guess it makes me feel better when those doubts then get blown away by the positive counter arguments those articles invite here. Kinda like I want to confirm that I've made the right decision. It's like one moment I'm high on .mobi then the next I'm all doubts again. Crazy man, what this silly domain business can do to you sometimes.
