So like I created a thread under General Discussion:
https://www.namepros.com/threads/if-canada-becomes-51st-state-what-becomes-of-dot-ca.1343425/
and within a day it got moved. I inquired about this moving thing a while back:
https://www.namepros.com/threads/is...s-mod-moving-deleting-stuff-just-b-c.1325931/
and there was some thoughtful feedback from the mods and users, much appreciated.
Just wondering the actual decisions based on moving threads. Can you guys be transparent? For context, why my thread moved into ccTLDs because it has "dot-ca" but these threads:
https://www.namepros.com/threads/ai-aftermarket-is-dead.1344833/
https://www.namepros.com/threads/deepseek-domain-names-showcase-and-discussion.1344872/
https://www.namepros.com/threads/sell-names-with-ai.1344746/
https://www.namepros.com/threads/major-ai-project-in-development.1344326/
https://www.namepros.com/threads/gemini.1339321/
https://www.namepros.com/threads/viability-of-a-life-domain.1335878/
are ok in General Discussion? And that's just the first page and a half. Like is this a reporting thing or personal mod preference or what?? You mentioned in the example I gave that 99% is reporting. Well I'm not going to report the example threads I gave because reporting is often a dick move and resolution should only be enacted when in clear violation. Instead of a hammer reaction you guys should be proactive in DENYING a weak report.
To be clear, again, I am NOT complaining about those other threads they are cool where they are. But why was mine not? We clearly have other ccTLD discussion threads, new gTLD discussion threads, and even product-based on ccTLD doing just fine where they were placed yet mine is like so quickly moved.
Send me a PM if you aren't interested in me contributing anymore. I've been here long enough that I know where where threads should be placed if I thought my thread should have been under ccTLDs I would have done so.
Being said, I do applaud proper organization and categorizing it makes the forum clean.
Lots love,
