I have known certain .WS domains to fetch thousands... get a great name and yea, they could be worth a lot, it depends on the buyer.

Ahhh... interesting.

Any suggestions on a parking service for .ws sites?

If you have a great name than it may worth regging.

For now if you plan on reselling I'd recommend only registering short one word domains or 3 letters.

I've sold a few .ws in the mid-high $xxx range, and some more in the low $xxx, so they can certainly be worth it if you get the right names..
But try to go for one words for now, haven't sold a single double word name yet..

-> FusunMedia:
3 char/letter .ws are reserved by website.ws and costs $500 pr year (minimum 2 years reg)...
They have a sh**ty system there as well, so it's pretty hard to resell domains registered there. (you loose all of the remaining years, and it's a $100 fee to transfer...) :td:

My .ws "collection" by the way
"unique" .ws domain names :)

Depends if it is a good name. If it is a good name, it may sell, though the extension lets it down, unless the extension fits in with the word :)

I agree with you.

For example, cc may be bad, but for credit card companies, it fits in perfectly...

There are some nice names on that list! For someone only half happy about their worth, you sure have a lot of them. :)

I can't see a lot of value in .ws as far as traffic goes, you can't park them. (Hell, I didn't even know about .ws until I saw it on GoDaddy registering .com's.) Reseller value...yeah, ok. The smart domainers out there know most extensions eventually will become valuable. Which means a decent name under .ws can still score a decent sale.

I don't agree with you on your second point.

Some domains are rather unpopular, and unlikely to become popular.

Of course, theres always a possibility...

Well. I think some dictionary names whould be worth. But I still get not many good offers for a great german word with .WS

Not really.

Unless you want to find sponsers.

sponsors.ws is quite good name because it is one-word one. But what is your purpose? Speculation or development?

I agree .Ws Wasted Space. I had to have it pointed out to me, WS WebSite and I'm not a complete moron.

Whatever next? Buy .VG domains. 'Vg' stands for 'Very Good'!!!!

Ps. .Vg is British Virgin Island Extension.

I think WS is highly undervalued... I owned eFinance.ws and it sold for about $20 in less than 5 mins after posting... it was appraised at regfee. Obviously it was worth a lot more....
