I would say they still holds lot of value in case you have names which are suitable for .org - which means names which indicate either some non-profit activities/organisations, "call to action" names, or activists type of names. They will always sell good, as .org was created for this purpose

thank you, .org is a tough one anyway, kind of sits there in the middle and is like you said non profits and activist organisations. Really should just be a sidekick of .com and .net.

To me, .org means trustable, reliable and often community driven. Now some open source projects are using .io because it can be regarded as input/output, and .io becomes even popular after Github used it for Github pages. QT project also switched from .org to .io. But as you see, .io is much more expensive -- that's why I like .org, as always

Agree with you, I also think .org & .io are still good especially for technical sites. And in SEO, I see that domains with .org usually get more trust by Google than others.

.org is popular in certain fields like advocacy, but also health or education, for instance there are high schools and universities on .org domains. The health industry is an industry where a lot of money flows.

With some dropcatchers offering deep discounts on the cost of .org backorders now, I am interested in trying to buy and sell a few. The .org daily droplist features domains that would be worth $xxxx to $xx,xxx or more if they were .coms. So, what should I look for in .org besides what has already been mentioned? For example a 4L .com with premium letters has significant value, but a 4L.org with the same letters can be worth just reg fee. What keywords should one look for (besides health and education) when purchasing a .org? There is a lot of information/tutorials out there on buying and selling .com domains, but very little on .orgs.

As for Night-Club .org I just do not see any value with the hyphen added to it.

Yes, I agree non-com's or non-de's domains with hyphen inside is very hard to sell.

.org's renewal fees are TOO HIGH. Thats what killed .org's aftermarket/investor activity. How can i pay $12.17 tot renew a .org at GD when .com is $8-$8.50?Not competitive! Same with .info too.
