Anyone else get hit yet with the FBI MoneyPak Virus?

I just did!
It sucks!

What happens is, when you turn your computer on a screen pops up supposedly from the FBI and it will NOT let you into your computer, it hijacks it.

It says you have been downloading copyrighted material and also downloading and distributing child porn so you MUST pay a fine of $300!
They want you to go down to your local drugstore like Wallgreens and buy a $300 MoneyPak card and enter the code and it will release your computer back to you.

You need to go to HitmanPro.nl and download their software from another computer on to a flash drive and then upload it onto your computer.
One trick I did instead of using the flash drive is that when my computer was booting up I click many time on my Malwarebytes link and my virus program link as fast as possible before the MoneyPak screen appeared and by doing that it was able to stop the MoneyPak screen from popping up, that allowed me to download the HitmanPro software directly onto my PC and I ran it from there.

Yea, my 79yo dad keeps getting hit on the pr0n sites... I tell him not to d/l the vid players, but he forgets

About once every 2 months I have to clean his system out.
It's gets to the point where I wont even clean it, I just reinstall and save the headache of tearing thru the registry.

Oh well, it at least gives me hope for my future... he's still chasing at his age :notme::D

From what I understand about this virus, the most popular sites that you can get it from is Celebrity sites.

So be aware.
