I'm starting to get some positive cashflow and wanted to reinvest. Anybody got any SEDO featured name success or horror stories.

Have you had any luck - (Sales or increased exposure traffic) that made the izit $39 worth it..?

save your money, i have used sedo feature on about a dozen occasions and i really think its a waste of money. i wish i had saved my money a gone on holiday or bought a premium .TV :imho:

steer clear of sedo for everything except listing your domains for sale for nothing :imho:

I tried 1 featured listing and the domain name did receive about 150-175 views to the offer page but no offers were made, if your domain is premium it would probably help speed up a sale but then again if it's premium it probably doesn't need the help.

I think you could probably save your money and just target end users for a sale, but if you had the extra cash and just wanted to try one out as a test run I would do the following...

view sales reports at dnjournal etc... showing domains sold and the prices sold for at afternic and sedo.

compare domains sold in the same category as the domain you would like to feature to see which of the 2 have had the most and highest sales and pick the one that seems stronger in the category of the domain name you have to list.

Personally on the sales end in general unfeatured I have done better at sedo than afternic, this is just my personal experience and other users may prefer one over the other.
