advice Any way to find financial information for American companies?

In UK, we can go to company house website > look up a company and check their filings.

Is there something similar for America? I cannot seem to find any. Please point me towards the right direction!

SEC.gov/Edgar. Most publicly-traded companies will include under the investor section of their website the relevant SEC filings.

You can with public companies but not with private companies.
