Hello all! Thank you for hosting the NamePros forum and allowing me to participate. This is my first post.
I hope "General Domain Discussion" is the correct place to share the following observations.
I have purchased domains for web development projects for over 20 years. Only recently though have I begun buying domains for other purposes.
Recently I stumbled across an interesting way to find domains (available to buy) with significant organic traffic.
Moving forward I plan on buying hundreds of domains using this strategy. I hope this post is makes sense.

I have purchased domains for web development projects for over 20 years. Only recently though have I begun buying domains for other purposes.
Recently I stumbled across an interesting way to find domains (available to buy) with significant organic traffic.
- Step One: Start with a niche topic I am interested in buying domains for/within; such as "sound effect microphones" or anything
- Step Two: Search Google (using Google Dorks) for related PDFs and download between 40-60 of them from the SERPs
- Step Three: Either (1) use a RAG (such as NotetbookLM), (2) read the PDFs one at a time myself or (3) build a tool for extracting unique domains from the documents
- Step Four: Extract all of the unique domain names from those PDFs
- Step Five: Copy/paste the found URLs into a domain availability checker
- Step Six: Confirm there are inbound links on any domains of interest and (of so) buy them
Moving forward I plan on buying hundreds of domains using this strategy. I hope this post is makes sense.
