Americans - Are Google ads bombarding you with proposition yes/no advocations?

It seems like everywhere I go today, Adsense has decided to force feed my browsers 'Yes on Prop 8' Ads.

Are other Americans experiencing similar ads today??

My questions:

how effective will these ads be and how much was spent (if this is a public number we can find) on these types of ads?


I will be voting no on 8 (I am not gay)

It looks like all the yes on 8s are on tv ads and (LOL just this second a election recording called me) and on the Internet while driving around the Bay Area you see nothing but No on 8s. I have not seen one yes on 8 bumper sticker.

Are yes/no proposition ads on adsense being seeen in your area?

I just learned on the Jon Stewart show that the Mormons were backing the Yes on 8 campaign as far as they could - alas, the only two people I have seen with Yes on 8 signs (are my neighbors) and you can guess they are LDS
