OK thanks, never experienced it this long.
The average listing time has actually improved over the last couple weeks.
As mentioned before, the listing time varies because the design process goes through rigorous review to ensure that logos are top quality. If they aren't, our designers are asked to revise them repeatedly until they are. This is why you'll notice some names get published quicker than others (some logos need more revisions).
Please be patient. Your domains will be listed as soon as possible.
OK, thanks for the update.
@Deven Patel - Have you considered adding a specific section to Alter for call-to-action names?
I think these types of names are sold more often than people realize, and they can be powerful promotional tools for businesses. I'm sure you already have some shorter ones listed on your site, but showcasing longer versions of these names is a niche that none of the larger brand marketplaces has really explored.
I own a few that generate several million exact match search results, but I've never submitted them to a brand marketplace because they're over 12 characters.
Edit: Actually, looking at my list of submissions, I see that I did submit a few of them (not all) to Alter. I assume they were rejected because of length, but perhaps your team had other reasons.
Also wanted to let everyone know I recently sold Divine/Dating(com) on Alter. $2,699 sales price over 24 monthly installments.
It's already pointing to an active dating site!
Congrats, @Joe Nichols
Indeed very active.
In the About section: "Our website is the fastest-growing online dating site."
It would be cool a internal sold list like in squadhelp
Thanks for the feedback! Shorter names are always preferred but if the name is high quality and brandable then we may accept it. I just checked and the longest name will have listed right now is 15 characters long.
@Deven Patel Hi, please check DM. 26 days ago still pending listing
@Deven Patel , I am not sure whether it already been asked or not, can seller use his account balance buy other listed domain? it may not be a normal case, as most of seller not going to buy at enduser price, but just in case to ask...
dear @Deven Patel
I have sold a few of my alter.com listed domain names to some other user. And I have sent a mail 2 times now to transfer the domains from my alter.com portfolio to his. Its been over a week now but I haven't received any response yet. Please look into it.
Did you sell them on Alter, or in a different way?
no, here on namepros at reseller pricing
As far I know you must delist the names and the buyer must submit them again and they will automatically be listed in buyers account when they are verified (see post 252)
Important Note: Although I do my best to reply to everyone here, this forum isn't our official support channel. It's always best to reach out to support for specific questions related to your account. You'll get a quicker reply and this thread will benefit from less noise.

Note: You submitted the domain 26 days ago but it wasn't verified/approved by you until about a week ago.
That is an interesting idea. At this time we don't offer this capability but we can certainly consider it in the future if enough people want it.
As @wwwulff mentioned, domains already accepted in the past will automatically be re-accepted when another seller submits them. And once they're re-verified, they will also automatically be listed on our marketplace instantly. So just have the new owner submit and verify the domains from their own Alter account.
Note: I don't see any open tickets regarding your inquires. Can you please DM me your email address so I can check to see if we received your emails?
Just like to say how impressed I am with your platform. I signed up not long ago, submitted some names, a few of which were accepted. I was impressed with the proposed pricing, the logo your team generated and the writeup produced for the domain names. While understanding the concerns some have expressed re listing other places, frankly personally I like the approach that once a domain is listed in Alter it automatically gets listed a bunch of other places. Well done, and thanks for being so responsive on NamePros, @Deven Patel. I look forward to seeing your platform grow.
Thank you for your support and compliments, Bob! Much appreciated.
Why in this thread?
Alter name and Alter thread. The same way we have SH thread with SH names. Alter sales should be reported here as well.
I don't think it's a good idea to post all recently listed domains and logos in this thread. You know there is another thread for that. Let's keep this place readable, thank you.
Of course I agree but I don't see anything wrong with posting here. But I get your point. Taken.
I admit, there are indeed differences between the brandable threads here on namePros. Some are mainly based on discussion and substantive talk about the marketplace itself (such as here, about Alter), while others have a predominantly showcase character. What I appreciate about this Alter thread, is that it is not a showcase from the beginning. Fortunately, there's the other thread, where you can post logos and everything to your heart's content. In terms of sales through Alter, I think it could be valuable information to briefly mention here, as Alter has not been around for very long. Until there are too many sales, but that's more of a luxury problem then
@Reyginus can you imagine if we ALL started posting our every listed name here? Wouldn't that make it difficult to follow a discussion?
Names that are listed on Alter are public. We can just go and browse newly added names and find out what names were published lately. Therefore posting recently listed names here doesn't add any value. Sales are a different thing. This information is not public yet, so we are all curious to find out what gets sold on Alter at what price and if the transaction was smooth. Therefore sharing information about completed sales adds value to the discussion.
Separate names with a comma.
