All NASCAR driver .mobi names

Hi,

I purchased all the NASCAR driver .mobi names along with the team names, NextelCupSeries.mobi, CraftsmanTruckSeries.mobi and 19 of the 25 Formula driver names.

Any idea how to go about selling these as a package? I'd like to keep them together since I don't think anyone will be able to dominate an entire sport like this again. Or, should I hold on to them for a few more months?

I've never sold domain names before, so I appreciate suggestions.

Lots of drivers, including (but not limited to) Jeff Gordon have their name listed as a trademark. And I'm sure NASCAR, Nextel, and Craftsman won't be happy about the others.

Why didn't they buy them?

OK, if I'm a famous person why wouldn't I buy my .mobi name already? Back in the sunrise period. Is it because famous people don't worry about other people buying their names and using them?

Can they sue me and take their .mobi name away? How does this work? How can one company own a name like: flowers.com and another person buy flowers.mobi and not run into trouble?

I know you all aren't TM lawyers...but, are they totally immune to people buying any domain name that's a TM?

Just because they haven't purchased their name in some obscure extension doesn't mean that they don't hold the final rights to it.

They can not only request that you give up the domain name, they can indeed take you to the cleaners just to show you who is boss.

In the end though, some of these issues won't scare some domainers away from TM names. They might live in nations with very lax rules and thus won't fear some American trying to sue them.

According to John, our famous domain lawyer, 2 of the factors that constitute to loss of your potential "TM" names are:

1. Using the name in "bad faith"...
2. Keeping hostage of the name with a clear intention of "extortion"

make sure you keep clear of these boundaries..

Apart from the tm issues etc, I don't see any value in these names in .mobi extension, maybe in .com but not .mobi, someone please correct me if I am wrong.

all names have serious TM issues and are worth zero. Any of these companies or people can take the names away from you if they want to. I would just get rid of them even though it cost you a lot to get them all.
