Afternic doesn't want to pay and doesn't want to return my domain.

Two weeks ago, I sold my domain through Afternic's Fast Transfer network. The domain was successfully transferred to the buyer from the very first day, but I still hadn’t received my payment. Despite my numerous attempts to reach out, no one seemed to care to respond. [email protected] was not responding, and neither was [email protected]. It's incredibly frustrating—no responses, no updates, and just complete silence after they took my domain from my account. At this point, I just wanted my domain back if they couldn’t provide my payment, but I feel helpless with no resolution from Afternic.

I had the same thing happen recently. It took about 17 days for the sale to finally complete. Meanwhile, no responses from TA despite multiple emails. I contacted my rep and he had to have his manager escalate it, as they don't even have a phone number to call the TA department.

I am also facing the same issue. My domain "thevape.ca" is sold in the month of May 2024 and Payout Date is May 7, 2024 as per Afternic records. I have been trying to contact their support team to understand what details are missing in my payee account in order to receive my payment. Every time they copy paste response, which does not help figuring out the issue. Its been over 6months and no resolution is provided. Haven't seen such a pathetic support from any service provider. I reside in Canada and trying to get this sorted out soon. Thanks

I also just successfully sold a domain name at afternic after 2 weeks. and now when I see you say that, I really doubt that afternic service is like a scam. I contacted them to ask when I will receive the money, they just said "he Transaction Assurance team are currently reviewing the transaction for petalxxxxx.com. You will be notified by the Transaction Assurance team if any action is needed from your end."
I have sold sedo for the past few years and feel that sedo has good service and fast payment. I hope my case is not like yours

you sure it was afternic ,sounds like GD buy services ,they have some brokers there doing some real borderline criminal ---t there.
