To compare pomeloes with lemons, you need to use generic tlds, imho.

.tv?No,I don't think .tv will have much value in these days,it's only a ccTLD and the reg fee is high ,so it's not a good choose for domainers.

Thanks for reply Biz I said if priced reasonably and for use In US being a cctld have no bearing on that I can pull up any .tv site. IN US for a major University sports on TV USC.tv LSU.tv SK8.tv would be cool name IMO SOme networks using Now Comcast uses CN8.tv TNT.tv

I think both have their unique strengths, ty. I like both .INFO and .BIZ. Not because, singularly, they have any real worth in comparison to .COM, but collectively, they can be combined in their tens to form huge information or business internet addressing roadmaps that finally make real sense, at a very reasonable price. Often many times less than the price of only one .COM version of a specific name that resides in that network.

People don''t normally share these strategies in public, ty. It makes it all that more difficult to get the names they need. The window of opportunity opens but briefly, then you have to pay higher and higher acquisition costs as time goes by as the general public gets wind of certain "values".

Made up sequences have proven, time and time again to be worthless sets. Natural sequences using popular keywords are best eg. home.com, bathroom.com, kitchen.com, bedroom.com, livingroom.com... and so on. Only problem is, acquiring such sets on .COM namespace, may cost you 5 generations of professional slog.

The .TV TLD is now marketed as a generic tld. Some years ago, entrepreneurs made a deal with government of Tuvalu to market the name and open registrations to anyone. If the .TV TLD it was just a ccTLD then there would be registration restrictions on it.

Verisign bought-out those entrepreneurs and created the .TV corporation. The price for registration is prohibitive, but I think it's a highly intuitive TLD and I have invested in a numbers of .TV domains. Most are not worth much now but I think the .TV TLD will grow in popularity in the next 2-3 years.
