Can I use a single dictionary word without trademark issue?

Sounds good since you have found no issue. If you have found a TM you need to see what it covers.

Depends on the word. Technically, the word Amazon is just a word with meaning. Being: A member of a legendary race of female warriors believed by the ancient Greeks to exist in Scythia (near the Black Sea in modern Russia) or elsewhere on the edge of the known world. Its a Greek word...even a rainforest (amazon rainforest, the world's largest tropical rainforest).

However, that s*** won't fly if you've got "amazon technology" or "amazon deliveries"...even if your reasoning is about it being a legendary race, or you simply like the word. Its dodgy territory, IMO

Try and register your own trademark, then you can use it. The process for doing this will be very useful for you for the purposes of learning.

It all depends.

If you own Apple.uk and you're selling apple cider on that website, you should be fine.

But if you're selling anything related to phones or computers, you'll have a problem.

Unless you are able to register a trademark for these things.

Search trademark database. Almost all popular dictionary words have multiple trademarks. It doesn’t mean no one else can use it. It means they have locked up certain CATEGORIES for the word with their trademark.

So technically as long as the word can be used in multiple other categories and you have no ads on a lander and you don’t approach a trademark holder…you should be ok 😅

No. Otherwise everyone would have to pay to use that letter. Now if you mean a design of a letter for a logo, then that’s something different and trademarkable.

It depends on many factors.

You might own a business that sells apples.

Your first name or surname might be Apple.

Apple may or may not be a trademark in your country.

You might already have a trademark for the phrase "Apple + another word".

You might be setting up a website for people that live in a town called Apple.

Lots of factors that can come into play.

What do you plan to do with the name? Does it obviously infringe their trademark given the other word?

Thanks for your response.

I'm planning to flip the name.
The first word is TM and 2nd word is not.

It's probably not a problem, but it depends on the additional word and if it relates to Apple INC

Without knowing the exact domain name, you make it very difficult for us to guide you.
