About Alexa rank of a unregistered domain?

why a domain has not been registered, and had no registeration history, but has a rank at Alexa, and also estimated traffic?

How alexa estimate its traffic, what principle is it based on?

It estimates about 60 IP per day, is it a enough good traffic domain to register?

That can be possible, but alexa is not accurate. They count users that have alexa toolbar installed.

Sometimes people type in non-existent domains, or typos.
As said above, the stats are collected from users who have that Alexa plugin so they are not representative.

Therefore it ingores the traffic from who has no Alexa plugin? The traffic will be even larger?:wave:

Your assumption is wrong. The estimation is not accurate, this statement is not predicting larger traffic, it could be much smaller. With traffic < 100 uniques per day, you dont get the Gaussian statistical curve :D

IMO Ranking Less than 1M is some what OK.
But 1M+ is not accurate due to very less data.
