I was tracking some expired domain names using the Web Archive and found a small portfolio of 47 domains. I checked all of them, and only 4 are not registered today, the other 90% are still registered. Of course, some were dropped over the years but they were registered again (or again). These domains aren’t premium or fancy; they’re just regular names.
So my question is simple: the fact that this person’s portfolio has “survived” almost 23 years - in one form or another - does that mean the domainer chose good names? Or does it mean nothing at all?
