While I was looking at their profile, I found quite a few domains that are not easy to sell at all. Then again, decent ones will cover their costs as well.

Not me I find a few hundred more than enough personally.

As has been pointed out as well as individual investors there are investing companies that sell via DAN and other channels. Their business model depends on staff and they need high numbers for it to work.

Thanks for pointing out though. So something like 20% of listings from one account if numbers from splash page are up to date.

i think buydomains.com it,s just an affiliated Verisign company. nobody will pay $7,000,000 renewals fee/per year.

If current this site shows the different companies under the Endurance umbrella and that does include BuyDomains. Endurance say they have 3700 employees and serve more than 4 million customers (I would assume that is largely those who use their hosting products and services).
