An ounce of gold is now worth $1,327 (£1,003), up from $1,257 on June 23. However, the spike follows a sustained rally in the gold price throughout the year. The metal is now worth a quarter more an ounce than it was at the end of 2015.

The market price is for investors, the real value within your name is the fiscal evaluation of Nuggets (specimens). A fine specimen dug out of an exotic location can yield far more than the 'Market Value' by weight.

Undeveloped, as is blah, $500 to $2000, this is a good example of the three-word nuggets that are still untapped.

PS.

Nokta says $3,926

The real value is how marketable, relavent and easy to remember it is. Gold, Value and My are power keywords.

I agree with the basic premise of type-in value and memorability. The point I was driving at is anyone can type in bloomberg.com and get the day's market price. If you hand dug a 500gram nugget out of a vein of quartz under the court yard of an ancient Aztec city, you are not going to bloomberg.com to get a valuation. When it comes to Gold there are 'Schmuck' Markets where ding-dongs pay for 'paper gold' and then there are Markes for Men that only deal with physical gold.

No one is going to type in 'value my gold' to see what their paper gold is worth, they are typing in bloomberg.com.
A nugget expert operating under, 'Value My Gold' however is going to attract the connoisseurs and aficionados. Like women, there is gold and there is GOLD.

It is crazy, but people type all kinds of things. "Iwantmyname.com"

That is a serious Domain Name Business concept ZapNano. I bought my name but I had to settle for my middle initial as well. I'm sure matthew.com has a hefty price tag, I doubt it would ever be for sale along with many other popular traditional western names.
