I have emailed and phoned Pool countless times since April and they still haven't transferred many .eu domain names to us. The whois data still shows Pool's information.

We paid for these domain names the minute we acquired them.

I can't tell you how many times Pool have deceived us by saying we will have control of the domain names "soon". I was hearing that as far back as July. Each and every time I have trusted then, waited a few weeks, and they have not done what they said they would do.

I am an incredibly patient person, but waiting from April to December for the whois to be switched to us is a ridiculously long period of time.

I have been so polite and amicable with the people on Pool's support, yet they have messed me around more than any registrar ever has (and, judging from other posts, other domainers as well). What can I do?

Not sure if you could, but you might be able to submit a report to the BBB.

Make sure your contact information with them is correct. Most of the time they use odd registrars to register these names that the snipe, so possibly the information about these domain names wasn't mailed to you.

I wouldn't have been that patient with them. If you want, you could take the case to a domain name lawyer and get the names transferred to you. They certainly don't want the bad publicity, so once you do something that is rationally threatening them, I am sure that they will move to please.

Incredible!
Why wait this long?

Contact your lawyer!
You should get some compensation as well if it's high quality domain.

I never had problem with Pool, though :)

Good luck with your domains.

you have waited, tried, talked, taken tons of aspirin in the meantime...

i think it's time for one final call with the notice that if the who-is isn't changed within 14 business days that your attorney will contact them and take the appropriate steps. At the same time, you will make know that Pool.com is a company that has questionable business ethics, etc. I would also place this notice into a well written letter and send it certified.
Only downside of this approach, if you already load the gun, you need to follow up with shooting - you're committing to a different approach. ask yourself whether you want to go this way.

Screw 14 days... 72 hours. Give them an ultimatum then get your lawyers on them.
