$240,000 Misspelled Domain Headlines New DNJournal Weekly Sales Report

The latest weekly domain sales report is out at DNJournal.com and it's another doozy! The highlights include the highest price we've ever seen paid for a misspelled domain - over $240,000! - and another 200K sale. .Com reasserted itself this week, taking 16 of the 20 slots on our Big Board (ccTLDs took the other four positions) .Org dominated the Global Contenders chart, taking the top three entries and 10 of the top 20. The big story among the Country Codes was Canada's .ca extension. It ran off with 16 of the 22 positions on our new Country Code leader board (the extra slots were created by a 3-way tie for the final position). Read all about it through the link below:

razvan i agree totally with you. with a sale tag that eexpensive, you could convince me easily that its worth alot, but 68k?. i'm a little lost.

People don't reg these by accidents. They reg these for traffic.

WOW. i cannot believe the increases in price we have seen this year. A typo going for that amount of money is insane. how much traffic do you suppose it gets?

Its always Moniker/Domainsystem who report high $$$$$$$$ amount for weird domain name sometime it makes me wonder lol
