I am DEFINITELY trying to reduce the size to a handful of very high-quality domains.

I am at around 50, with 70% developed. I am in the process of slightly increasing the number of names I have, with an emphasis on development.

42, 4 developed. 6 developing. Iam on the small/tiny side in the scheme of things...I do not know how npers with a portfolio as big as >1000 manage them,I struggle with just these few :D

Around 100 now a days. Sold off a lot of parked domains and domains i didn't really have a use for. Been developing slowing and working on different techniques to make money with domains rather than the traditional parking/sell/buy methods.

sold off most of my names, learned and moved forward. concentrating on generic names and slowly getting my feet wet on developing.

used to own over 800 names and didnt want to maintain a fixed cost during these worldwide recession worries we are all facing

want to get around 40 names and cash flow on developments.

i float in the Small to Medium area (200-300)
tho i have the same problem i have had as a dj to many records to pick from
its so hard to pick the domain to dev/use when you have 50+ names of the same niche being indecisive doesn't help either
looking to get more quality names and maybe a lil less quantity its hard to manage 200+ sites tho iv only got about 40%-60% built or in the development process of being built!
got a mouth full and still taking bites

Thinking of reducing to 50%..
This renewal fee and maintaining time really sucks....

I was trying to shrink it down, but then for a while I could get nice info's for $2.25 each and I fell off the wagon

I just find it a lot easier to write 10-12 pages of content for each of 10 related niche domains than to write a hundred pages for a "good dot com".

Used to have hundreds in the past (all sold) but today I only have less than 10.
With over $10 000 profits since I started but spend all my money buying things on ebay.

Now I regret it because if I kept this money to re invest on domains I could have a nice generic portfolio of few domains.

This year I'll begin to save my money and buy only geo names but I must start all over again from zero dollar. 8-X

Extra large - I have over 1200 names - intend to trim some of the fat but buying others strictly with the aim to find end users.
