The limit should be 5 per new customer however I've been able to register more than that. Will they retroactively charge you the price difference in the future for any domains registered over the allotted limit? You would think that would be business practice, even illegal if it's an issue with their system.

I don't see any such offers on their site, could you share the link?

I think this offer came up before and you weren't allowed to transfer the domain out before the 2nd year $38 renewal fee.

ok here is some real feedback,
because there are a lot of things told about netsol that are just not true

i have used their 1$ deal and almost all their under 5$ deals in the past
only one domain that was acquired at 1$ was renewed,
all the others were pushed to others netsol,
or transfered out to another registrar

i made good money the last time they offered these deals,
but i activelly sell these domains,
so 2 months before they expire put an auction on this forum,
or if the domain worth it, start a sedo direct auction

this month i registered 29 domains at netsol for around 100$ total,
it's like free money, i expect these domains sales to cover at least a third of my yearly renewal

register domain that you plan to sell within a year,
don't fall in love with your domains, especially your handreg

Thanks for the info guys. So can we indeed transfer out or push these $2.95 registrations? It states:

The 'Domain Only' offer includes a discounted rate of $2.95 for the first year of domain name registration, billed annually. After the applicable promotional period, then current renewal rates shall apply (currently, $37.99 for one (1) year .com domain name registration).

But they only charge if you have auto-renew on right? Or if you relinquish the domain?

And what if you go over the 5 quantity? Can they retroactively charge you?

you can register 20 of them by 5 batches

if you try to register 6, one will be at 25$/year in your cart
5 is the max that you can register with the discount

netsol don't charge you anything later, and you can deactivate autorenew like any registrar

The second one doesn't work for me!?

Networksolutions codes do not work for everyone. This may be due to location.

netsol is evil
luckily all their promos work only for half of accounts due to some payment error

so at least half domainers are saved from evil.
