A lot of domain investors also invest in crypto currency it seems as of late. I usually feel pretty confident that a domain I carefully acquire today will be a 10x+ my investment including holding time. If say, I were to buy bitcoin today, is it feasible that i would get 10x my money?

Beside btc/eth/mana/GRT....( my main staple 4)

Anyone have a new favorite they have their eyes on?

Or a new up coming project that seems to have potential?

mana is a my long bet as I've loved what they(Decentraland have been doing from day one, and it's role/play in the/their Metaverse)

Has anyone here had any luck using @epik 's BTC payment landers ?

Also anyone know of one that offers ETH payments? @lambo.com your crypto/c/o/r/p is a good example of what I talking about...I would like that exact model but to display ETH as well? Adding ETH as checkout option would be a HIT imo heck it's how most nft marketplaces are taking checkout/payments @Rob Monster

Also if sold in BTC does epik send the exact amount of btc from their wallet to yours? Seem's it be a mess to go from btc>usd>btc

Seems it be much easier for a buyer paying in a LARGE sum to transfer "X" amount of BTC than to deal with huge amounts of cash..I think the motivation to buy would be easier and more impulse driving. Sending say "20 btc" and get what you want and be on your way, vs wiring/escrow that kinda money in dollar amounts takes more time.. there's a speed factor at play I would assume.

I'm interested in using a crypto payment lander if anyone can chime in thanks! @Keith @SirDrago that might know more.

I just found a way to list your domain for ETH

Someone already has a few nft .coms listed on OpenSea

https://opensea.io/assets/0x495f947...123082994748235668675276936795852845724205057

If you type in the domain name they have redirected to the OpenSea Sales Page..... what do you all think of this?

u mean to use open sea listing as yer lander?

I dont do nfts..but it's interesting idea.. tho may limit many sales and buyers not wanting to buy in this way.

or I guess maybe I just meant to send whoever wants pay in eth there...

imo the best and only payout option epik ..dan..or others should have for crypto is a good stable coin.. then u avoid all conversion issues related to transaction delays..which always happen... even dan once said there is delay few hours b4 they payout and when they finalize btc amount in their end.

anyway everyone knows stable coins are the future ..its crypto 2.0... nobody needs btc or others no more for payments..its outdated.. btc is just for trading now..which defies its whole original aim anyway

I really like alice coin. i should have liked it enuf to keep my 1.2k of it few weeks back
...bought at 4usd.. I'd have 15k today.. but devil told me to get link instead.. so I was so 5k with that..luckily angel told me at right time a week ago to get burger coin Instead at 4usd or so.. then I sold at 6usd few days back

so I sit on 7k now out of 10k I ever put into crypto total..from few domain sales.

but alice let me go from my lowest 3k... to 13k... b4 may crash.. back to 4k..

I love alice. but now too high.

anyway my goal is get back my 10k and get out..cause it's all waste of time

u make some..then it crashes

just like casino.. in the end house always wins.. I'm gonna be lucky to break even.. as are most traders ..sadly most lose money. even binance makes u agree to statement that only 20 to 30% of traders actually make profit. b4 they let u trade.

anyway..every smart person knows this simple truth..that just like casinos..crypto has made way more people poorer than richer..

of course those it made richer will always deny this.

That's how crypto is pumping to huge...

I bought the same Alice at $4.5 and sold it at $12.8.

made a huge profit and I took out all the money.

I will buy it again when Alice dumped to the $4~$6 range in a couple of months.

Also, I did the same for INJ. bought at $3.8 and sold @ $12 (but it went to $25), and then crashed to $4.

Now i buy back a few and hold till $20.

Don't rush to buy/sell in crypto. Wait for the dump to buy and sell in the bull market peak.

Hard to know when the peak happens

We got stuck at 60k right? Even those of us from 2017 didn't see the crash coming.

I'm pretty sure most of us won't know when the next peak is...

good for u on alice..u did what I failed..but that's crypto..up and downs..the problem is.. it's way more downs than ups..as in for most people...

that is exactly why crypto is like casino. majority is on losing end.

Not sure if its worth the time mate. I've currently got one of the most viewed .ETH domains/nfts on Opensea and i've had 1 offer in 24 months.

I'm not saying it's not worth trying but people are more interested in NFT's on Opensea imo.

As soon as governments dish out their own central bank digital currencies, it's lights out for the current cryptos. The government and especially the central banks (the real rulers) hate competition and will not tolerate it.

I have some crypto, but I'm not willing to hodl forever. When I'm in decent profit territory I'll close all positions and won't buy back in again.

just put my hard earned 7k into iotx.. round 70k of it.
at around 10cent

its -22% now

pray for me..playing catch up stinks... but whether at casino or crypto..play catchup is what most do most of the time

they dont call gambling a bad devastating addiction for nothing..

I would not have the stomach for short term trading in the crypto market. I did it with stocks for awhile, and while it worked out it was too mentally draining letting the price movements demand almost all my attention.

And that is with the stock market, where at least you can take nights and weekends off. With crypto it is 24/7.

true..but..like others said..it doesnt have to be that short..u can sit on a trade for as long as u want.. in fact it's probably recommended.. versus quick day trading..

granted quick trades are what I've mostly done..costing me time like u say..some stress..and in the end basically.money too.. but over time...I think I became more patient.

I have friends that traded, btc early too at that, told them not too. Agree

I’ve never traded any of my crypto ..or sold (yet) 😎 all long term investments for me.

That's why I prefer dividend shares. Not a get-rich-quick strategy but here in the UK you can put £20k into a tax free ISA account every year. Waiting for a market crash to average in. Plenty of large corporations that pay 3-8% dividends. Not sure if I'm willing to buy more crypto when the markets take the long-expected hit.

it's not rocket science

tons of regular stock day traders there.. crypto too..
sure u gotta stare at yer.screen preferably..instead of limit orders etc... but if u buy eth at 1k and 5mins later its 1200 then u made 200 in 5 mins... how can u not take that or understand based on this why quick day teaders exist

LOL. Investing in anything is not rocket science when it goes up. Things however don't go up forever.

The entire speculative market is due for a major correction. Not just crypto, but stocks, collectibles, and everything in between.

Your example is also not reality. Outside shitcoins things are not going up 20% in 5 minutes...If you go down that path it is even more risky and subject to potential rug pulls.

It sounds great on paper, but the vast majority of people who day trade in anything tend to lose money.

Brad
