GoDaddy says 60 Day Lock was placed on by ICANN???!?

I recently bought a domain from another member here that was at Godaddy. When he pushed it I asked him to opt-out of the 60 day lock, which he did. But then when I get the name in my account it had the 60 day lock anyway. So assuming its another GD glitch I emailed review60, just go their...

    GoDaddy.com Locking Policies

There was a thread unfairly targeting Epik “lock policies” (i’ve personally never prob with) Godaddy is a massive registrar with 80M+ domains, and the only one to impose 60 lock on pushes, and transfers, auction,.. the works. Non-Godaddy fans (if out there) Will Godaddy ever change ridiculous...

GoDaddy blames ICANN - ICANN FAQ says otherwise?

I have a few domains with GoDaddy, and because I've listed them at Dan.com I want to remove the lock on them to make sure that I'm able to quickly transfer them in the "less than 24 hours" that Dan.com advertise to clients on their landers. I emailed GD at the change60 email to request that the...

[Already sent support ticket, hopefully someone experienced here can help!] Got a domain just sold to end user, regged newly at Nominalia last month (less than 60 days), can anyone tell me if it's possible to transfer out before 60 days? And is it possible to push without asking for support?

Pro Con?Beginning to notice many US based customers are not familiar with Dan, add to that they are based outside...

Dear All, Is it a common practice for a registrar to have a 60-day transfer lock due to RENEWAL? I've just knew it when I want to transfer out one of my domain name from Alpnames. Thanks & Regards,

Why are GoDaddy closeouts subject to 60-day lock

Does anyone know this answer? I cannot understand why godaddy closeout domains are subject to the 60 day transfer lock when the domain is coming from a godaddy account to a godaddy account. surely, it should be as simple as an account push so the 60 day lock is not necessary Anyone know?
