As far as my knowledge goes 4 is considered unlucky number in chinese numerology ( 4 means death ). As chinese domainers/endusers are the fans of number domains there will be less buyers for this domain.
Though the domain seems nice with 3 zeros its not worth $500. As its dot net , May be around $100 or less to be generous.
