It happened on 23rd Aug 2022 and this matter lasted almost one month without any process. Masterbucks.com declined my fund withdrawal and disabled the button of fund withdrawal. And I contacted Epik.com and got no further action even if Rob Monster got involved in it for two weeks. All the time I was told in email by management review.

What is wrong with Epik.com? Do you think it is normal to disable fund withdrawal? How can I get back my fund from Epik.com? Thanks for your suggestion.

You could try touching base with the Federal Trade Commission. https://www.ftc.gov/ They do have a consumer complaint section for unfair trade practices. If they can't help, they may be able to direct you to what federal agency may be able to help.

The Washington State Attorney General office would also likely handle complaints about unfair business practices, since Epik's headquarters is there. In the United States, each state's attorney general office acts as the people's attorney. They do tend to be no-nonsense about unfair business practices.

Sorry to hear you are having such a frustrating time with this. Hang in there, buddy.
It's frustrating for lots of people, from domainers to endusers. It's not nice when businesses do not take customers seriously. Epik has given many people headaches, even non clients whose emails got leaked by the hack are getting spammed like crazy. It's good to let the world know what is going on so other people will not get "burned" by Epik too.

PS I'm hanging in there, thanks for the worries bro ;)

With that said, for argument's sake there would be options like a FTC complaint, fraud reports with local authorities, legal action, etc.

I think Epik needs to be given a reasonable amount of time to resolve the issue, but "reasonable" is subjective. I think the period that is reasonable becomes shorter absent any communication.

This can't linger on for weeks or months. I don't think that would be considered reasonable to most parties.

The fact that there doesn't appear to be a Masterbucks TOS is also troubling to me.

There are people depending on the money for personal reasons, family, Ukraine funds etc. This has been going on for 3 months as stated by the complaint on Trustpilot, that is a very long time without an official statement/communication of the "issues" by Epik/Masterbucks.

I didn't realize it dated back that far.

I thought some of these might have been an isolated issue, but if it was blanket rejections under some bogus excuse then that is another story.

I guess let's try to figure out the last time anyone was able to make a withdrawal from Masterbucks.
Has anyone here been able to make a withdrawal in the last 2 months?

@karmaco File complaints at the Better Business Bureau, and the Washington State Office of the Attorney General, leave reviews at Trustpilot, what else can be done?

Thanks! Lodged an official complaint on the ATG website. It will be on public record.

I’ll also be consulting my lawyer on the quickest route to get the money back/out of masterbucks.

If the memory serves me right, @Tony Blessed is an escrow manager @ Epik. In other words, not a PR person and not a general operations manager. So, he simply posted what he could. Thank you Tony.

It also means that Epik staff did not receive an order to disappear from public space.

On the other hand, Rob Monster is silent in his personal twitter now. No domaining-related posts, no religious posts, nothing... It is very unusual for Rob.

All this makes me think once again about the following (copypasting own earlier post for simplicity):

It was noticed somewhere in a parallel epik thread that a recent handreg of a free domain did not come through. Which may simply mean that Epik currently does not have enough prepaid balance with at least one registry (PIR for .org, Verisign for .com/.net, etc.). If so, together with unprocessed masterbucks withdrawals, this may indicate a broad issue: lack of funds, or [more likely imo] no access to funds. Wasn't it revealed some time ago that Rob Monster was/is the only person authorized to access their online banking (in context of delayed wire deposits reported by NP members)? If so, if either old or new Epik CEO is still the only person with full banking access, what would happen if they switch their phone and laptop off and travel to Alaska for example? Or, what if they become sick? Imo, we'll see exactly this - no masterbucks payouts, and no registrations or renewals with one or more extensions...

Epik's insidious plan may also be to force us to spend money on name registrations. Already, there is probably a record flow of registrations on Epik. For this, in theory, there should be a large fine, this is clearly a dishonest practice.

I believe that we do not need to call the dollars and euros on Masterbucks's wallets masterbuckses. Even if it saves words. By this, we acknowledge that these are some mysterious new Epik money or tokens. We need to talk about dollars and euros on these wallets.

I probably would have taken that route, but my renewals are $15, so I am currently transferring out all names due for renewals.

All of its employees can be software bots using large (or not so) language models.

Is there any sizable refference to this issue on social media or is it just this forum (I don't use social media)? I mean if they don't activley frequent this forum any more there's no way they can be playing at ignorance is bliss right? There must be numerous people making a noise elsewhere.
