(NOTE: I have NO idea how "steroids.info" is in the tittle of this thread... I did not mean for that to happen)

I have some .info domain names that are premium words, but then I have some that are not... Here is a small example:

Steroids.info

Steroid.info

But then I have some of these:

DiscountSarms.info

GetSarms.info

What is everyones opinion on the .info extension and is there a time to keep and a time to punt??

Thanks guys!

I see your "steroid" domains selling as a package, within the 4 figure realm. The other two, I see nothing. Dot info is fine (but it better be good)

IMO. Welcome to NamePros

That makes a lot of sense regarding selling them as a package. The biggest problem is that I own hundreds of premium domains regarding the "steroid/ hormone" niche

Do you think I should let go all of the .info names that are NOT premium?

Thank you very much for your input JHM

Welcome. If it was me, probably. Certain strong and singular words are keepers, depending on what it is. Information with regards to "steroids" is a pass, information with regards to "cotton jumpers" probably isn't. Having a reasonable understanding of what people actually care to know "info" about, will tell you if there is likely to be a demand

IMO

Just to gauge where you are with your names...

Do you have any landers set up on your names? - Setting up landers or a means to track how many visitors individual names get will tell you a lot about their value.

Have you ever tried to actively sell any of your names or were they all bought as personal projects?

Have you ever had any cold enquiries on any of your names? - Obviously this is the best indicator on the level of demand for you names.

Are your names listed on all of the major marketplaces? - The more eyes on you domains the better. Adding domains to some marketplaces will mean they appear in registry paths too so definitely worth doing.

You have some good names in .com too so have you considered using a broker? - The top brokers have client lists and contacts for premium names the average domainer could only dream of.

How big is your portfolio? - are we talking about 20 names, 200 or thousands?

You don't have to straight drop names you don't rate. There are other options such as using NameLiquidate as a last hurrah. Even if you get 9 dollars for a name you would have dropped its better than nothing.

This obviously applies to all your names not just .info
