I have a domain name containing the word “intel”. Would selling it be a trademark conflict with the Intel corporation? Or can that word be used since it is a common abbreviation of “intelligence”?

Of course, ''Intel'' trademark and generic dictionary word ''intelligence'' are two completely different things that have nothing to do with each other, no way you can be sued for using the word ''intelligence'' in any way.
However, from what I understand, your case is different, and it's hard to tell (even opinion) without knowing the exact situation.

Is it a tech company? Or are you planning on selling it as a tech domain? Then probably not worth the risk.

The name like
MyWifeIsSuperInTelligent.com is ok since it has nothing to do with Technical Stuffs.

Thanks for the feedback. I bought inteladept .com . I was thinking of reselling as a name for an intelligence, information gathering business. Not sure if this would work. I also just found out UC Berkeley has a program called Adept sponsored by Intel, so this is probably a bad name to own. Any more thoughts?
