The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
His dream is to take over Gab.

Can you tell more about the relation between Epik and InfoWars? Looks like RM was inviting or congratulating IW with the move of their domains to Epik in a posting on Gab in 2019.

I told Monster of Gab's pedo problems within weeks of him taking their domain to Epik (see attachment). He called me a liar and threatened me and tried to make me take down by videos exposing gab.

The hosting company Epik purchased, where gab was hosting at that time, was 3 literal teens running a couple servers on leased racks that hosted lolicon and pedo porn doing about $2.500/month in revenues.

Epik currently HOSTS tons of pedo site.
Well it looks like Rob has some explaining to do.
Im gonna see if Torba wants to come defend himself too.
We can go full "judgement day" and air tall this dirty laundry.

They did and looks like they are still there. Monster was frenziedly reaching out to every alt-right character that would talk to him. It was very weird. I don't think he was working with feds, at least at that time, just had some weird agenda to be in charge of all and steer. It was obviously all part of a marketing stunt because he saw a nice little grift niche forming but it was more than that, he wants to be in charge of all, like some European technocrat and be all wise ruling over others.

Thanks. Aside from the technical / security components that have been widely discussed now, I'm interested in motives (of all parties) as well. In any case, your information is consistent with how the leaks were announced.

Yes, motives play a huge role in this. That is my point. All the lies and greed for money and power that made him endanger his users for his desires. Like a developer using cheap materials to save money getting a bunch of people killed in a bldg collapse.

If you had to name 1 reason why you and RM are not on good terms, what would you name?

In addition to InfoWars being an Epik client, Monster also hired their director of IT from InfoWars. His name is Michael Zimmerman (ctrl-f Zimmerman in the transcript https://blog.mollywhite.net/monster-qa/)

Thanks Molly. Guess I have to re-read your transcript again, there's so much info in it.

Anyway, it seems to be a piece of the puzzle in the context of "motives" once again.

Cybersecurity Roundup: September 21, 2021

"Twitter account @EpikFailSnippet uncovered “all of the domains owned by Michael Zimmerman aka Alex Jones’ IT Director for FreeSpeech, LLC dba InfoWars.” Those include sites we’d expect like infowars (dot com) and its permutations, but also sites named DeathonDemand (dot com), FreeAlexJones (dot com), CivilWarIsHere (dot com), StonePetition (dot com), FiveGKills (dot com), StopFauci (dot com), 5GDeath (dot com), MasksOffUSA (dot com), and more. That account is connecting all the white nationalist dots, including connections involving Proud Boys, and is working on Covid-19 and vaccine misinformation sites and organizations that are coming up in the data dump."

There are multitudes of reasons it's a good idea to use a trustworthy VPN besides living under those governments.
Maybe...
As for me, I never used any VPNs, except a few visits to Afternic due to their abnormal firewall, where my country is banned ~7 years already (ALL IP ranges).

Checking in here.

I'm checking in and can see that this thread has now been fully derailed by wild speculation, dishonesty and online drama. It also seems a few are now resorting to personal attacks and odd discussions about others' height or gender. I hope that we will all eventually grow beyond this level of discourse.

For those with legitimate questions regarding the attack against Epik and its users -- 99% of which are average, ordinary individuals -- we will have more updates on what has been done to secure our systems, as well as some exciting news of future developments in the near future. Stay tuned.

As for the reference to harassment towards Molly, I have never personally engaged in any such thing, nor do I condone harassment by proxy. In general, if I have an issue with someone, I am very comfortable to engage in dialog in good faith, preferably in private but sometimes in the open.

As for our acquisition strategy, Epik is a digital empowerment company. We have completed about a dozen acquisitions in the last 3 years. It is not part of our core mission to become a media company, e.g. social media or otherwise. We provide domains, hosting and tools for building digital enterprises.

Our criteria for content is that it should be lawful, it should edify in the aggregate, and the people who run them should be a force for good. We have a capable abuse team that reviews abuse cases 7 days a week In cases where we do choose to part ways with a client we try to do it responsibly.

If someone has some specific concern about some client's content that they deem to be outside of TOS, they should feel free to report it to [email protected]. A new abuse ticket management system is coming online shortly, developed at Epik, and will make this process as painless as ever.

I wonder if the checkout process is different now. Have Epik customers who recently paid with credit card noticed a change, for example a different payment processor?

Nice try to deflect. Yuck. Nauseatingly pitiful and disingenuous. I feel dirty just reading your words. How do you live like that all day every day?

You have been asked a bunch of questions a bunch of times by a bunch of people. You have been caught in a bunch of lies and you responded with more lies, personal attacks, and threats.

Yes, there have been few posts that went off topic. The mods have been diligent in removing posts that would set the discussion in the wrong direction. By and large, the thread is on topic and not derailed. Quite to the contrary of what you wrote above.

This is the sentence I think was most useful. Sorry for the summary.

I think his response is even more important - more lies, personal attacks, and threats. And I forgot diversionary tactics, like his above post, and sending shills to back up his false statements.

I have been called a "liar" several times by Rob Monster and I have not said or written one untruthful statement. I have had Rob Monster publicly and privately make false statements about me and my businesses. I have been threatened by Rob Monster with "court day" and "judgement day" several times.

Should I file a lawsuit against Rob Monster and Epik?

This is not a denial that it did not occur. You were very public about your strong feelings over the Wikipedia article.

If you think it's the best strategy on this forum, be my guest. I'm not so sure. Personally I think you have some good insights because of your shared personal history with the CEO on other forums. That helps a lot, but your presentation needs improvement :xf.smile:

@Derek Peterson I'd like to add thay the way RM was trying to restrict you here in this thread was far from good.

My way is the only way that works with people like Monster. Their ego always does them in. Guys like Torba know what they are in their hearts and run and hide from light of truth.

Yeah, and this isn't the only place and I'm not the only one. Tyrants and grifters hate free speech.

@Rob Monster That has not been my experience. Regardless, shall I take this to mean that Epik will end all its various services to Joey Camp, who is continuing to use your services to harass, dox, and defame individuals including myself? There are many reports in the abuse@epik inbox you can avail yourself of to determine which sites I am referring to, though I'll admit it is odd that you have requested outside parties to provide information on the services you are providing to Mr. Camp, something I would think you should be able to look up rather easily. It is also odd that your "capable abuse team that reviews abuse cases 7 days a week" has not managed to get to any of the reports about Mr. Camp submitted over the past month yet—or have they, and this should be taken to mean you have reversed your previous statement that Mr. Camp's sites (which have not substantially changed, other than to include more doxing, harassing, and defamatory material) should not be supported by Epik?

Maybe a weird thought. A person can also proactively commit to correcting this type of behavior (incorrect treatment). Without having to be pointed out first. As a CEO you have an exemplary role after all. This passive behavior doesn't match the extremely vocal way you normally jump into all discussions.

Disagree, unless you mean mighty incompetent?

(topic: review sites like TrustPilot, TrustRatings by Epik, and reviews on in fact all E-commerce sites)

There's hope. This was announced in NL today. The bill is the elaboration of a European directive and the intention is that consumers receive the same protection throughout the EU. The new (EU) rules will be enforced from 28 May 2022 onwards.
